On solitude

16 September 2016 By Bel Leave a Comment

img_4653.jpgToday I found myself reciting one of my favourite poems.

Into My Own, by Robert Frost.

ThisĀ a poem about the riches of solitude. I like that the poet takes control of creating his own solitude, as well as his healthy approach towards those he holds dear.

The picture above puts me in mind of the opening lines of the poem.

But I shan’t give it all away – you can read the poem here.
